Explore the beauty of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks in winter, a season that transforms these places into a magical snowy paradise. With about 90 km between the two parks and only 11 km between Yellowstone and Grand Teton, winter offers breathtaking landscapes and rare tranquility.
Jackson Hole is the ideal starting point for exploring these parks. From here, you can venture out by snowmobile, snowcat, or in a luxury van.
Day 1: Arrival in Jackson
Jackson Hole, nestled between the majestic Teton Mountains, offers winter activities such as skiing, snowshoeing, and dog sledding. The town of Jackson is lively, with western shops, art galleries, and saloons.
Day 2: Explore Jackson
Visit the National Elk Refuge, where about 8,000 elk graze in winter. Don’t miss the National Museum of Wildlife Art, located across from the refuge, with collections of American and western art. In the afternoon, explore Jackson Hole with snow activities or discover the town life.
Options: dog sledding adventure, ranch dinner, panoramic experience with the Aerial Tram. End the day with dinner at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar or the Silver Dollar Bar at the Wort Hotel.
Day 3: Grand Teton National Park
Spend the day exploring Grand Teton National Park. Join a guided wildlife tour to spot bison and elk. You can also enjoy the comfort of a luxury van with large windows and binoculars provided.

Day 4: Transfer to Yellowstone
Depart from Jackson to Yellowstone with an organized transfer to the park's southern entrance. The transfer includes a shuttle to Flagg Ranch and the Snow Lodge inside the park.
Day 5: Explore Yellowstone
Join a snowcoach tour to visit the Canyon and the frozen Lower Falls. Explore the Upper Geyser Basin and admire the geysers and hot springs. Try cross-country skiing or snowshoeing on the park's trails.
The day can include an evening snowcat tour, available until the end of February. Dinner at the Obsidian Dining Room with typical dishes and a stunning view.
Day 6: Transfer to Mammoth Hot Springs
Transfer by snowcat from Old Faithful to Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel in the northern part of the park. Mammoth is excellent for wildlife viewing and cross-country skiing. Relax with a drink in the hotel’s renovated Map Room.
Day 7: Explore Lamar Valley
Dedicate the day to Lamar Valley, known as the "Serengeti of America," for wildlife spotting. The morning tour starts at 7:00 AM and returns at 2:00 PM. Be prepared with warm clothing and proper gear.
Dinner and overnight stay at Mammoth Hot Springs.
Day 8: Return to Jackson
Transfer from Mammoth Hot Springs to Jackson with an internal shuttle. The transfer departs in the morning and arrives in Jackson in the afternoon.

Day 9: Departure
